ACTIVITIES
When you sign the PTC paperwork you will be asked to indicate whether there are any planned activites
that you do NOT want your Scout to take part in.
KNIVES
Scouts are allowed to bring knives on camp.
Knives must be handed to the Camp Leader BEFORE departure in a named envelope.
When the Scouts are doing an activity which requires knives, their own knife will be returned to them for that activity.
If a Scout does not have a knife then we can arrange for them to borrow one.
If you do not want your Scout to do 'Knife' based activities then you MUSTnote this on the PTC paperwork.
Any Scout found with an 'unauthorised knife (ie. not given to us) will be sent home.
GADGETS
We dont want Scouts having general access to hi-tech gadgets. This somewhat defeats the object of camp.
If they they have a genuine need to contact home then we will arrange this.
If they want to bring music players to listen to on the journey (lets face it will be long), then that is OK, but they
must hand these to the Camp Leader on arrival at camp.
